Cycling Festival 2023
On Sunday 14th May 2023 we are hosting a 'Family Fun Cycling Event' on Hartham Common, Hertford from 12 - 3pm. There will be lots of activites for all the family to enjoy, some are listed below:
- BMX stunt show
- BMX lessons on the ramp
- GO RIDE sessions
- Bike maintenance classes
- E-Bike demo area
- British Cycling fun bike skills sessions
- Local police doing bike marking
- Green Arrow Cycling Club stall
- Herts Wheelers stall
- Everyone Active stall (with activities)
- Forty Plus Cycling Club stall
- Hardy Yard Pizza van
- Bean & Gone Coffee Van
Any money raised from these activities will directly go to two local charities, Future Hope and HDOS.

GO RIDE - 30minute taster session.
These Go Ride taster sessions will be delivered by qualified instructors from Green Arrow Cycling Club - a local community Cycling Club based in Hertford.
Go Ride is a fun way to improve your cycling skills; suitable for all experience levels up to the age of 14 years old.
This session is an introduction to Go Ride, children will play fun skill sessions such as limbo under a pole and cycling around cones to improve their bicycle handling.
Four different times are available:
Session 1: 12:15 - 12:45pm
Session 2: 12:45 - 1:15pm
Session 3: 1:30 - 2:00pm
Session 4: 2:30 - 3:00pm

Beginners bike maintenance class:
Delivered by Highway Cycles, this beginners course is a great introduction to bicycle maintenance and is suitable for people who have never touched an allen key in their life, or people who have muddled through a puncture repair but would like to be slicker.
